I am a 100% straight man (i.e. I am heterosexual, not homosexual), but I am not against gays and lesbians. My principles is pretty simple, respect individual and mind your own business. I like women and some guys like men (or some women like other women), so what, does it bother you? These things happened thousand years ago, why it still bothers you today.
All the conservatives in US hate three things as follows
1. Homosexual
2. Abortion
3. Increase taxes
I already stated my opinions in first item; I can say I am a pro-choice loud and clear here. Why? only the pregnant woman has the right to do make her decision, not some lousy men to make the choice for her. My point is that you need to give the baby an equal opportunity to survive in this society. A Down's syndrome baby or Crack's Mom's baby don't have equal opportunity.
I disagree the abortion with gender discrimination personally. Unfortunately, this is very common among Chinese (Taiwanese included).
Last, I don't even mind paying more taxes now. All I ask is the fairness. Rich and poor people don't pay taxes except middle-class people like you and me. Soon, I will be downgraded to poor people and no more taxes; God bless America.
