Another thing you should know, I am not the person who checks cell phone all the time. So you may get my repeat few days.

I was an international student, studying in California Lutheran University. It locates in Thousand Oaks. It takes 2.5hrs to downtown LA. If you find a map on google, it almost between Santa Monica and Santa Barbara. I graduated Aug last year, and had a job, got the H1B* support from my nice boss.
* like a work proof, offer for students or someone who doesn't have green card.
For OPT (Optional Practical Training)students, they only can work 1 yr legally. after that, they either have a husband for getting green card, or find a nice boss and company's sponsor to apply the work visa(proof), and then they can legally work in the US for at most 6 yrs.
